Chunky Handknit Blanket Class
Join us at the Zen Den, 1 State St. Tully NY on November 17th from 1-4pm to learn how to handknit your own beautiful warm blanket. Blankets are a nice sized couch or lap blanket but you could use more yarn to make it bed sized at home if you wish. Instruction fee is $25 and helps pay for our space. THIS DOES NOT INCLUDE YOUR YARN!! SEE BELOW FOR DETAILS. Please feel free to BYOB and snacks and of course a friend or family to knit along side of and keep company with. Seating is limited and class will sell out so do not wait to grab a spot. Also, do not wait to get yarn, colors get picked over quickly in these cooler months.
**IMPORTANT, PLEASE NOTE: You are responsible for getting your own THICK & CHUNKY blanket yarn. Thin yarn will not work for this. Two good brands and places are Bernat Blanket Big from Michaels or Yarn Bee from Hobby Lobby or amazon. In these brands you will need 6 skeins of yarn. I have bought off brands before from Walmart, and amazon, they are never quite as thick so an extra skein may be needed. Please feel free to contact me. I will help as much as I can. Michaels and hobby lobby do have sales on yarn bi-weekly so check for sales as the yarn is pricy. Mix and match colors if you wish.

Please join Designz by Heather and the amazing Jenn DeCook for this specialty charcuterie class. We will learn some new amazing recipes, basic 3-3-3 charcuterie techniques, make salami roses, dips and more!! McGraw Box will be offering a sampling of perfectly paired Beer to accompany your Board of goodies. Join us to sip, create and munch the night away!!
The board will be engraved with your choice of personalization. Please specify name or names in the pop up info box at checkout!!! This is yours to take home along with all the wonderful memories with your date. If you choose NOT to take a specialty priced board at $30 (normally at $45 value) home, your charcuterie plate will be made on a take home disposable bamboo tray. Just a side thought, if you don't need another board, have it personalized for a gift this holiday season!
*Due to the way this charcuterie board is set up, there is no way for us to make it a smaller portion for just one person. There is plenty for 2, but if it's just you, we will have containers for you to be able to wrap up and take extra's home. As far as the tastings, you will just get a little more in yours as well. ;)

Barn Quilt Paint Class Workshop at the Zen Den

Join us to paint a gorgeous barn quilt with guided instruction. These are 24” wooden barn quilts. We will use a stencil to help us paint. We will also seal them with outdoor sealer so that you can hang your beautiful quilt on the outside of your home, shed or barn!! We have 4 fabulous designs for you to choose from. All paints and supplies will be provided. If you wish to bring paints to match your home, that’s fine, but I can not guarantee the longevity or outcome of your sign. I use water based paints and sealer and water and oil do not mix. I also have no way of knowing the quality of your paints, so please just keep this in mind.
Event is being held on May 5th at the Zen Den at 1 State St. Tully NY 13159 from 2-6pm. You may finish sooner or take your sealer home if you need to leave earlier. **Feel free to bring your own food and beverages.
Tickets are $90 and we have limited seating due to the size of these.
