Join us at The Zen Den - 1 State Street Tully NY 1-4pm to learn how to handknit your own beautiful cozy blanket. Blankets are a nice sized couch or lap blanket but you could use more yarn to make it bed sized at home if you wish. Instruction fee is $25. THIS DOES NOT INCLUDE YOUR YARN!! SEE BELOW FOR DETAILS. Please feel free to BYOB and snacks and of course a friend or family to knit along side of and keep company with. Seating is limited and class will sell out so do not wait to grab a spot. Also, do not wait to get yarn, colors get picked over quickly in these cooler months. Sales occur bi-weekly at Michaels and Hobby Lobby. Feel free to use other yarn brands BUT make sure its the super thick chunky yarn for handknitting!!!

**IMPORTANT, PLEASE NOTE: You are responsible for getting your own THICK & CHUNKY blanket yarn. Thin yarn will not work for this. It has to be about as thick as a finger. Two good brands and places are Bernat Blanket Big from Michaels or Yarn Bee - Eternal bliss from Hobby Lobby or amazon. In these brands you will need 6-8 skeins of yarn. I have bought off brands before from Walmart, and amazon, they are never quite as thick so an extra skein may be needed. Please feel free to contact me. I will help as much as I can. Michaels and hobby lobby do have sales on yarn bi-weekly so check for sales as the yarn is pricy. Mix and match colors if you wish to create stripes and patterns as you knit.
