Please join this special FUNDRAISER for Order of the Eastern Stars Marathon Chapter #101 for the Grand Matron's Special Projects. Event will be held on November 28th, 2021 from 1:00-3:00 at The Masonic Lodge 28 Main Street Marathon, NY. A portion of each sale goes directly to the organization.
This is an in-person paint/crafting art event. At the event, Designz By Heather will bring all the supplies and your chosen sign and guide you step by step in painting and assembling your project. NO EXPERIENCE NECESSARY!!! Colors will be chosen at the event. Aprons are provided. No alcohol please, but feel free to bring a drink and snack if needed.

OES is a fraternal organization founded upon the principles of charity, truth and loving kindness. They work to raise money for several funds: emergency relief and general welfare fund, social services fund, educational assistance fund, nursing scholarship fund, as well as funds for the day care at the nursing home in Oriskany. The Eastern Star home in Oriskany is a nursing home that entails everything from assisted living through complete nursing home care and includes a state of the art memory care unit and rehab unit. They raise money for special projects and this year’s special project is the St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital. They also raise funds for the youth groups of Triangle girls, Rainbow girls and the DeMolay for boys. The OES supports veterans as some of our monies support projects like the Wounded Warriors and we provide lap robes and prayer shawls for our veterans in nursing homes and assisted living centers. At Christmastime they provide monies for gifts for the veterans in the nursing homes and the residents of the home in Oriskany. This year we are also making hats, mittens and scarves for the homeless.
